We are a family owned and family operated business. As a small country clinic, we want to take care of your pets as if they were our own. We care about you and your animal companions, large and small, and want to make sure you get the best possible experience. We offer a wide range of services, including travel in some cases!

Dr. Destany Cribbs - DVM
Dr. Destany Cribbs: Dr. Destany Cribbs was born and raised near Spokane, MO. Being raised on a farm she acquired a special love for animals at an early age. She met her husband, Dr. Harrison Cribbs, while in veterinary school. They live on a farm with horses, cows and chickens.
Dr. Cribbs has a passion for rescue animals so they have several dogs and cats. Her favorite job is being a mother to their 2 little boys. "We love doing anything outdoors together as a family.
We love Jesus and are active in our church home, Spokane First Baptist. We are so grateful for this opportunity to serve you and your pets".

Dr. Harrison Cribbs - DVM
Dr. Harrison Cribbs was born and raised near Ocala, FL. He met his wife, Dr. Destany Cribbs, while in vet school. He too grew up with horses, cows and family pets. He is thankful that God has given him this unique gift of combining medicine and caring for animals.
He adores his 2 little boys and enjoys doing anything outdoors. Dr. Cribbs loves farming and just enjoys the simple things in life.

Theresa - (receptionist/office manager)
Theresa is the mother of Dr. Destany Cribbs. Theresa and her husband Roy have lived in the area all their lives. They live on a farm with horses, cows, chickens, cats and dogs. Theresa owned a roofing company for 30 years and decided it was time for a slower paced job. She joined her daughter's veterinary practice as head receptionist and office manager. She loves God, her family and is very partial to all of her grandchildren.

Kristen Nell - Vet Tech
Born and raised in Ozark, Missouri, Kristen graduated from Mizzou with an Animal Science Degree as well as a minor in Captive Wild Animal Management. From a young age, she loved animals and decided that she wanted to work with them. Kristen has volunteered at various veterinary clinics since she was 15 years of age and has been working as a Vet Tech for the last 10 years. She and her husband still live in Ozark, Mo with their 2 Aussies, Chili and Ollie, and their cat Milo. They are expecting their first child later this year.

Emily Young - Receptionist
Emily grew up in and graduated from Nixa, Missouri. She achieved an Associate of Arts degree from Ozarks Technical Community College. Emily has loved animals from a young age so working at Heartland isn't like working at all. She has previously worked as a Vet Tech for 10 years and has been a receptionist with our clinic since 2020. Emily and her husband have 2 sons and live in southeast Springfield, MO with their Dutch Shepherd, Brody and their 3 legged wonder cat, Cassidy.

Gaston
Gaston was Dr. Destany Cribbs' beloved canine. She rescued him while in vet school and they quickly formed an unbreakable bond. Gaston would come to work everyday with Dr. Destany. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020 and crossed the rainbow Bridge in 2021. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
